TARLETON PROPERTY: HOW WE WORK
As you will see we operate a network of web sites including www.tarletonproperty.com our 'home' web site and outlet sites like www.pneproperty.com. These sites mainly promote Almeria and Murcia in Spain, but also show property in Bulgaria, and leaseback/investment property in France and the UK. This web site www.ucanaffordspain.com promotes Costa Blanca and Costa Calida/Murcia and is intended to show you how affordable and easy it is to purchase property is in this region.
In effect in Spain we cover therefore Costa Blanca, Costa Calida, and Costa Almeria. We have offices and staff in resort and can 'tour' a client to view a vast range and variety of property from country villas to front line beach resort, and from off-plan 'investment' options to established re-sale properties. Similarly we can offer this service in Bulgaria and France.
However as you will note it is somewhat overwhelming not only to be presented by the vast range of properties, but also by the vast range of agents and 'offers' here and everywhere! We try to be clear and avoid gimmicks and 'promotions' that in reality you the client will ultimately pay for.
Our membership of the Federation of Property Developers, Agents, and Consultants 'FOPDAC' demands of us correct and proper procedures that protect you the client: use of an independent lawyer, audited client accounts, accurate and honest representation of property and developments etc etc. To complement these requirements we adopt a policy of employing salaried staff who will not pressure you, and who are not dependant on 'closing a deal' for their income. (Our associate company in this region from who you will purchase your property is obliged to adhere to these same standards.)
INSPECTION TRIPS? ........WE OFFER PLANNED VIEWING OF RELEVANT PROPERTY & PORTFOLIOS
On a typical inspection trip offered by the larger 'supermarket' companies you will be greeted at the airport and escorted to a hotel of their choosing; you will be chaperoned by your representative from breakfast until dusk..including having your meals with them, and you will be shown the properties they want you to see....usually determined by which developer is paying the highest commissions. Your after-sales service will fall short of that you can expect from us.
In contrast we adopt a policy of working together with a client to put a portfolio of relevant property (budget, location, type etc) before you travel, and in planning your trip you will typically be offered free accommodation of a good standard with the option of being collected from the airport or driving yourself, and with a planned itinerary that is set at your pace and requested intensity. Should you find on arrival the property you planned to see does not appeal our experienced and knowledgable staff are able to respond and work with you on the ground so you see alternative options.
With regard to your flights we will look to book your flights 'at cost' which you will pay, and should you purchase we will refund 50% of the flights costs on two adults traveling. You will find that on balance the option to not feel obligated that this affords, and the costs incurred with the refund potential, compare favourably to the typical 'inspection trip'. (where a client can only travel on specific dates, and where the flight costs are prohibitive we will often find a compromise that suits you and ourselves)
AFTER SALES
As a final point it may be of interest to you that we are a property company that operates within a group of retail travel, tour operator, property management and rental companies. Should rental yield on your investment abroad be of interest to you we are better placed than most to offer the relevant services. Similarly if you think you may require after-sales assistance with furnishing, air-conditioning, local services, etc we will be there to help.
